Iris is a company developing and manufacturing sensor components for automatic passenger counting. They design, develop, produce and install opto-electronic sensors for integration with a variety of systems. Their sensors are mounted above the vehicle doors and transmit the quantity of boarding and deboarding persons. The main product IRMA was developed for use in urban public transport and it is used in many cities throughout the world. Their portfolio of sensor technologies for automatic passenger counting comprises a wide range of performance classes. The data gained by IRMA is used for the business optimization, capacity adjustment and revenue sharing in Public Transport associations. Iris was founded in 1991 and has its head office in Berlin.
Lenord + Bauer are an international specialist in the field of motion sensors and integrated drive technology. They have been developing, producing and distributing technology-leading solutions for the mobility and machinery sectors for more than 50 years. Lenord + Bauer offer sophisticated high-resolution safety integrated sensors that are an alternative to the common resolvers and are ready to be integrated in any self-driving vehicle. NAVENTIK GmbH is a spin off from the University of Technology Chemnitz. Based on more than 20 years (combined) of R&D of the founders, the company’s mission is to enable satellite navigation (short GNSS) for automated driving. Trailer Dynamics offers a comprehensive solution concept for long haul trucks by establishing an additional electric drive train in the trailer. Trailer Dynamics has developed the Newton e-Trailer, an electric drive train that replaces one of the trailer's conventional non-powered axles with an electric axle. In combination with the diesel vehicle, the entire tractor-trailer system is converted into an electric plug-in hybrid. The electric powertrain helps to recover energy (recuperation) during braking. Trailer Dynamics 'Newton e-Trailers' intelligent electric powertrain supports the diesel vehicle along the entire route, especially while approaching and managing gradients or in acceleration mode. If not all the electrical resources are required for the above task, the electric drive permanently supports the diesel drive over the entire distance with the remaining energy. The company Witt Solutions GmbH was founded in 1972 and develops and produces innovative measurement technology for DC networks. Typical applications are railroad power supply systems, DC railroads, charging stations for trucks, trains, buses, battery buffer systems and hydrogen plants. They have a patented method for a self-resetting voltage limiting device that covers the standard DIN EN 50122 and offers a very large VLD standard product range. In addition to the determination and evaluation of voltages and currents, devices for insulation monitoring of the infrastructure and cable systems as well as measurement data management, e.g. stray currents, are offered. The solutions are based on a self-developed flexible measurement platform which was developed according to the standards of a railroad operation. In their in-house production the processes were designed for single and small series production with a high vertical range of manufacture of small series.
